Hey all! I came across this article when reading one of my Google alerts for migraine. A woman by the name of Kim Vance has entered her invention - the Comfort Cap - in the Get On The Shelf contest by Walmart. Kim uses cold packs to help treat her migraine pain but like many of us know, trying to keep a cold pack to stay on your head isn't very easy nor comfortable. Kim found a way to keep the cold packs from slipping off her head. She put two pockets on the inside of a cap (one in the front and one in the back) and secured the openings with velcro. A cold pack can be put inside either pocket or both depending on where your pain is, put on the cap and voila! You have a sturdy and comfortable way to treat your migraine with cold therapy!
